Why use Chemicals?

We originally made this product for our own personal use, as we do not like to use chemicals in our home and if we can avoid them we do. We use this product daily to wipe out, then rinse clean our kitchen sink, before washing fruit and vegetables. We also use it together with our gentle scourer, to clean bread boards, wooden spoons, chopsticks etc.
In the bathroom, the basin receives a daily wipe and rinse clean to a shine and smells beautifully fresh and is clean. Since we have not used commercial soaps, shampoos and conditioners for several years (preferring to use our own handmade natural products) our shower never seems to have a build up of scum or grime. So it is very easy to clean while we shower, we just lather up the walls with the gel then rinse and dry with a clean cloth to a nice sparkling shine.
This jell cleaner, besides smelling divinely fresh and natural, has the benefits of the antibacterial properties of Tea Tree and the cleaning power of Lemon grass. Other than that it is a pure natural castile jell (olive oil soap) and made with some organic ingredients.
For any slightly stubborn spots we have made a very gentle scourer from recycled string bags and pile.

This year, the Chinese year of the dragon, begins our eighth year at the OBDM, we are still in the same location on the lower ground floor every Sunday from 10am - 4pm, and we look forward to seeing you there some time soon.
OUR SOAPS
NO PALM OIL is used in our cold process soaps, instead we use up to 90% of extra virgin olive oil (locally sourced), as well as skin friendly Australian avocado oil, and a touch castor oil for a rich lather. Our CP soaps are pure, natural soaps, moist and gentle on the skin.
Goats milk soaps - wonderful for stimulating skin cell regeneration, emollient, conditioning, and gentle for the most sensitive of skins. Available with pure essential oils, or no fragrance.
Castile - rich olive oil soaps - pure natural skin loving soaps with our own unique blends of pure essential oils.
Exfoliating soaps - stimulate and remove the outer layer of dead skin cells that build up naturally each day, and help unblock pores, leaving your skin looking healthy and feeling soft and silky smooth.
Luxury clay soaps - clays cleanse & revitalize the skin, bringing out natural radiance & beauty, cleansing, smoothing & softening the skin. We use ‘Les Argiles du Soleil clays’ from the South of France. mango butter for tone & suppleness & rose hip oil, a rare & precious skin oil, producing an emollient, moisturising and conditioning soap.
Transparen Glycerine soaps - made from a glycerine soap base to which we ad food colours and fragrances or pure essential oils - colourful and fragrant, & popular with a regular following of customers.
