YuUM design
Is a small (very small) design business, located in Bungendore NSW. I offer graphic design and print of business cards, postcards, flyers, brochures, display ads etc. My clients are generally small business people like myself, who do not have a big budget, or the skills to do it themselves.
My experience is firstly from over 25 years in small business (specialist retailer of outdoor equipment for backpacking, mountaineering) so I understand small business; but also from many years of passionate study of art and design. More recently (since 2005) I have been designing and making natural soap product and its packaging design. [YuUM Sundays]
My training includes drawing, painting, photography (and darkroom) colour and design, textile printing and design, marketing fundamentals... after that I obsessively taught myself computer graphics and that was more than ten years ago now. My promotion is mostly by word of mouth unless you should happen to stumble over this page.
For the last three years I have done the layout and typesetting of the Bungendore Directory for the Bungendore Chamber of Commerce and I have done several of the "Theme Day" postcards for the Old Bus Depot Markets in Canberra. Also business cards, flyers and display ads for Small Businesses and Newspapers in Bungendore and Canberra.
